Yea, this is where it comes to wether being photoreal or just visually appealing...

For me, the VRay render takes more advantage from the more saturated and lighter background, that makes more "bluish" shadows, while the less saturated backgound in Kray image makes them more gray. I don't like the pool in both images, and in Kray render I think plants gets too light green.

						This is not always the case especially in archiviz presentation. I think most would rather have an appealing image than a photoreal one. For example in a magazine most interior shots are set up to suit the camera to make them look more appealing to readers and designers. And that's exactly where artists ability to create nice atmosphere comes to play...
