No, I did not overwrite the scenes!Erwin Zwart wrote:... the final picture I showed was ofcourse the v004.lws scene. I guess you did not overwrite your own faulty objects with my corrected ones, in your render of my scene 04, your surfaces still give light. Also, when I load that scene back the exposure of physical sky is the same as when I saved it. If that does not happens overthere, your install must be incorrect. I noticed in your screenshot, the Kray Tonemap Blending master plugin is gone and you have Lscript Commander in there. How did that get there? Did you install the .lsc files of the supplied kray RC5 zip? Did you delete all old .ls files in the plugin directories that LW autoscans every time it starts?
The LScriptCommander was already there when I installed the Kray plugins! Didn´t know that I had to delete it before using Kray!
Yes, I did install the .lsc files of the supplied kray RC5 zip!
Yes, I did delete all old files!
I can´t judge how the scene looks in Fprime because I haven´t any access to it, (I thought that FPrime and Kray didn´t work together at all,) but I can assure you that I am totally aware of that my old scene looked like crap! That´s the reason I asked for help and I must say that you have helped me a lot, at least to getting some more interest in solving the riddle with Kray.Erwin Zwart wrote:About your question inside the picture (btw I prefer stuff typed in post to be able to quote and comment on it in my reply), I just picked a time of physical sky and I did like it. I disabled your sun, because it was placed just above the horizon. I also did delete your fake fill light. The comment of the overbright material is simple, I did not change your material settings, that is your job Your original scene looked horrible in LW and FPrime too.
Turn color down a bit. About reflections, add a nicer environment to reflect or else the glass never will look better.
About the environment, that was just a rough model to have something to start with, but I understand what you say and will of course add some more accurate environment when I get a little further with the scene!
You are definitely right in that statement Erwin and thank you for taking time helping me starting up a bigger interest for Kray! It´s been inspiring!Erwin Zwart wrote:Now it is time to work on your scene and worry less about kray.
Thanks again!
