i'm using lw 11 on a powermac. lightwave crashes every time i try to use photon mapping rendering. this happens in every scene i've tried. i've tried multiple settings in kray. does this happen to anyone else?

sometimes i can get it to render one frame before it crashes.

Same here, Kray crashes every time i try to render an animation, i.e. several frames to render.
Crashes often after 2 or 3 frames, depending on the scene.
I think it probably has to do with memory management (it's almost always the case with crashes anyway...) ?
Using LightWave 11.5.1 and Kray 2.51 on Mac OS X 10.8.4.
Cheers,
Laurent aka Tartiflette.

This can be bug in Mac version. Prepare scene (can by even basic - important is to receive crash) and send to G. Also You can Turn OFF all objects in Scene Editor and slowly one by one turn ON in scene until receiving crash. I had sometimes objects which crashed render.
