You can not use instance offset motions like you can in HDI using there MDD plugin.
Since I am so slow looking for work I thought I would try out a quick test. I was just testing so I used just rough objects.
A. For your animation just spray down some points in modeler using a layer and have your plant/weat model in the other, Save.
B. load in Layout
C. Add kray instances to your points for field and assign your plant/weat.
D. Add displacment I used (ripple) to your plant/weat object.
E. take note of how tall your object is in Y direction, give its position in Y that number. give a falloff in Y about 300%
Done.
Ps. Under instance setup change random rotation setting somewhere between 1% and 45%, I have 360% and that is not correct.

				Hi vpii,
Thx for the your assist! I always tried the displacement on the point-poly layer...not on the weat model. I''ve added some keyframed animated bending wheat in between the instances.
