Object Dissolve

Hi.
Is there any possibility to blend in kray rendered objetcs over time?
Normayly i use an envelope on object dissolve. But kray completely ignores
this parameter. I need an solution in lightwave not for post.

edit: ok...i could use the transparency surface channel....but thats not the best
solution for my situation.
