				Use about 1 million received photons/Nvalue 200 and set finalgather max distancevalue lower until you get nice contactshadows.Try maxdistance 200-50 The denser the finalgather rays are shoot the more detailed shadows you get.

No fake trick... 

Just try oversample (2-3 passes) and 20/500 min/max + good setup....

Ana, 
I think the contact shadows look almost the same, if you play with the gamma settings to get more contrast it should look like Johny's (I think)

I think Johny used photonmap, did you use lightmap? Also I think you have Blur in FG tab higher than Johny.
Plus he may have used skyportals? That still has to be released in next open beta.

Very fast prev.
I fink prev. becouse : AA is medium, lost some shadows from small obiects.
