Re: lightwave 2019
Are you making any further development of KRay for LW2019? It looks like we have a nice renderer where slow development is going to kill it. Look on other renderers - Corona, Cycles for Blender, Octane - all these we can see significant improvements every few months. KRay 3 was announced 2 years ago...

[quote="Janusz Biela"]I talk LW+PRO100+Podium.
Last one has huge community.
Its clear to me. Podium and PRO100 is a priority because they have the biggest user-base and they generate profit.
On the other word, we (LW users) will have to wait many months for the KRay 3.1

Re: Interior
Janusz, I don't expect such a high number for the Lightwave/KRay users. You are talking about PRO100 users. Please try to publish a realistic time plan just to know when KRay 3.1 will be released. There is no any interest to use the previous version(s) in the real production at least in our company....

Re: VRay scene to KRay
Thank you Janusz for help. I forgot to switch on LEM panels in the windows. New render took about 48 minutes. Much better result.

Re: VRay scene to KRay
I will post also render from KRay 3. So far I'm not able to reach good quality.
First render with materials is from VRay (just for information). My plan is to try to reach a similar result with KRay.
You can buy this scene at Evermotion - Archinterior vol.35.

Re: Simple room K3RC5
Thank you for your feedback Janusz. I know there are areas for improvement. With KRay 3 it will be easier to do. The most important is what customer think about the render. Most of them like the version I posted. And also render time on my 4 core xenon is acceptable. I will work on the AA and noice ...

Interactive LightMix
Would it be possible to implement this great functionality also to KRay 3? I tested this in Corona and its great for the final render tweaking.

Re: Shader Simulator v2
Off topic, but good to mention. I like Corona render for the quality it's producing and also because the development team is from the Czech Republic same as myself. All these "small" development teams can make great products, but when bought by big companies future is unclear. I hope KRay ...

Re: Shader Simulator v2
I personally prefer also KRay. The problem is that KRay 3 is still only RC version with many limitations and stability issues.
GPU rendering is getting cheaper with new cards. Customers ask mainly for fast project delivery and not perfect/accurate quality.
Thanks for great test scene.
