Re: Messiah studio for 10US
and $40 for the Pro! For people who think they missed it, thanks to paypal the offer is still valid even now, almost 2 weeks after the goal was met. I hang out in the IRC messiah channel since 1999, when it was a plugin-only for LW5.6. Get it if you need good character animation tool, that links wel...

Re: more intense reflection
set Blurring Accuracy Limit from 1% to 100% and test limited region of chair leg area.
I think it just reflects a very dark photonmap there.

Re: Help on rendering animation
http://www.kraytracing.com/wiki/Network_rendering#Shared_For_All_Frames when only the camera moves, this url describes the exact steps you need to take. I see this entry has to be updated, kray 2.2 got the button "bake only" to prevent wasting time on final render pass in the baking stage.

man, so many good pictures on the forum, great work. In exterior the people look OK, except the 2 girls on left, sun direction totally off and because of that it takes the credibilty of the other people "down" as well, domino effect ;) First interior looks good except paintings contact sha...

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?
What is the target market for kray next? The render engine is good as it is. But imho the biggest improvement would be those matt, alpha settings and render buffers, which seem to be the least voted  . You might see renders other than archiviz for kray if you can support those two for lw. I...

Re: animation / fly thru
In the second pass you should set the frame step to 1 ofcourse... ;) The frame step 30 for the creation of the shared GI file is just to decrease rendertime in the prerender pass. When your camera travels fast, you have to set that to 5 or even 1 to get the best photonshoot along the camera path. Af...

Re: animation / fly thru
but it CHOPPY and there is no AA even after i load the gi data and adjust my AA before rendering anim. if you get no AA after setting AA my first guess is, didn't you save the LWS OR maybe you pressed the LW F10 to render the anim instead of the Kray button Render Sequence? Further, like Jure said,...

Re: installation troubles
Thanks Jure, but I got it working just recently. when adding plugins from inside modeler, I could actually discover that there was a kray,ls file under plugins/lscripts/utilities/master Weird thou, cause I did search through manually with explorer browser. after removing that, and reinstalling it n...

Re: installation troubles
why 9.5? 9.5 is just some beta of 9.6 Newtek released because Siggraph (2008?) came up and they needed something to announce. IF you really need it for some reason, you can run them side by side, just use a Configs dir inside your LW Programs subdir ( f.e.) and use -c<path to Configs> in the shortcu...

whoohoo, no room!
I have the left machine here in my office, and the middle one at home, but not the Krupp one, the magimix variant, almost same, it is black with the same outlet as the left one.
Great renders!
wireframe looks like a SolidWorks conversion?

Re: old room
actually, this scene is the exact office space where Janusz works, it is his workstation TFT in the picture! He has nothing better to do than use LightWave all day. When he renders for 2 hours, he walks out of that door into the garden and goes sunning and swimming in his pool. Renderings of that yo...
